Since 1st March Aaron has been Scootering around Dersingham raising money for the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation.
Aaron is part of the Under 8’s Norwich City FC academy and they were set the Squad Goals Challenge. They had to chose a Norwich City Player and base their challenge around that players number. Aaron chose number 2, Max Aaron’s number and he is doing 2 miles on his scooter everyday for 2 weeks. He finishes his challenge this Sunday. He has currently raised over £450.
Each year, Norwich City Community Sports Foundation aims to raise around £250,000 from events to support its programmes for people with disabilities or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
For example, by raising around £150, you could help to subsidise a year of sessions for a member of the Foundation’s pan-disability football sessions.
With uncertainty remaining over the ability to hold fundraising events later in the year, initiatives like the Squad Goals Challenge are crucial to sustaining the Foundation’s work.
